We Were Born an Ocean Apart is comprised of six chapters. This is a trip to an unknown place. It’s about leaving everything to start a new adventure full of dreams. It’s about being brave and facing life as it is, with a beginning and an end. Illustrated by Inmaculada Herraiz and published by Sol de Sol.

Sometimes fear stops us from pursuing our dreams. It can prevent us from believing that anything is possible, but destiny always holds something unexpected in store. This is the story of an immortal mermaid, who after thousands of years in the same place, decides to chase something new, abandoning the warm waters of the Mediterranean to dive beneath the cold waves of the Atlantic Ocean.
