Born on a hot summer afternoon in Cabo de Gata, Almería, Spain, I am a Spanish writer and photographer currently based in Lisbon. My journey has taken me from studying Journalism in Málaga and Social Communication & Multimedia Design in Coimbra to postgraduate studies in Cultural Journalism and Art Curating in Madrid, alongside a photography course at La Ampliadora in Granada.
After eight years working for international companies, including TikTok in Dublin, I decided to follow a more creative path. Ever since childhood, I have been fascinated by the power of words to open up endless worlds. Today, I explore that same curiosity through writing and photography, capturing stories, places and the small details that make life meaningful.
My first book, Nacimos a un Océano de Distancia (We Were Born an Ocean Apart), was published by Editorial Sol de Sol in 2020 and later translated into English. My second book, Bollo de Higo (The Fig Bun) is a story for young readers, illustrated by artist Leyre Apellániz.
My photographic work was first exhibited in Fresh Lemonade at La Ampliadora Gallery in Granada. My second exhibition, Blue, blue sky, is currently on display at Hello Kristof café in Lisbon.
If you would like to discover more about my work or explore a collaboration, I would love to hear from you.
